Pokemon don't really contribute to the ecosystem. Since berries are naturally replenishing and pokemon aren't used as a main food source. Humans themselves don't really need pokemon to function. They're capable of Star Trek levels of technology and borderline infinite sources of energy. Even Lysandre realized humanity doesn't need pokemon to flourish. So why haven't they wiped out pokemon and made room for human advancement and expansion?
