i'm old, and played og red and blue as a kid, and then yellow and silver. never played gens 3-5, and never finished pokemon x. pokemon x was the last pokemon game i played.

so like. forgive my ignorance about modern pokemon. when i saw sprigatito tho i knew i had to get violet when it released, and i'm one that is terrified they're gonna ruin the cutest starter of all time by pulling an incineroar. i don't hate furries so don't @ me about that shit; i just want my cat to be a cute cat.

if they do fuck up the evolutions, would my unevolved sprigatito be a viable pokemon? i'd want to play wifi battles w/e they called. i remember in yellow pikachu kinda sucked bc he was so squishy but you could get around it sorta with double team?
