Felt the same way about diamond. I hated all the new gimmicks and touch screen gameplay. To be fair I also hated the ds in general.

I gave up after I was disappointed with USUM but I still bought legends and that was fun so I'm not sure if that still counts as being done though I still have no intentions of buying the next gen games.

You could almost say I never really started. Red was my first and only mainline game, and I've played very few spin-offs. I've been perpetually "meaning to" emulate the entire series for YEARS now, but I seldom play videogames at all anymore. Lost the motivation for some reason.

SuMo burned me on the series. I was really excited for it and ended up not really enjoying it. Wasn't interested in SwSh at all, but eventually got it several months later because a friend wanted to play with me. I never finished it and forgot I even had it until now.

A couple weeks ago when I finished Alola in Pokeclicker. I almost quit the series when Hoenn killed it but I stuck it out thanks to FRLG. Then I was going to quit when Sinnoh was marginally less steaming liquid shit than Hoenn but HGSS kept me going. Luckily the series hasn't reached that low of a point since Platinum

Played through SM but hated it. Tried USUM and that was the first Pokemon game I ever returned so right around there.
