Arguably it shouldn't have it because it has neither spikes nor hands (so it can't do a stabbing "jab" nor a punching "jab". It's much weaker than brave bird and crobat already learns the only slightly worse cross poison anyway.

Gunk shot has pretty bad distribution in general. toxicroak is the only physical poison type above base 80 that has it. Not really sure why since poison is already not a great offensive type. Crobat isn't unique in not getting it.

Crit chance doesn't make up for all the lost power, all those crit moves need a buff like Leaf Blade did.

I went through the whole dex, its mostly special attackers that have good STAB with mons like slowbro and houndoom basically running the same moves or equivalents since their debut generation.

After STAB that's a power difference of 15 and Crobat doesn't have a very high attack stat. There's a reason nobody uses moves like that outside of ingame.
