there are 7 "gym leaders", and they are called something along the lines of "flowers of wisdom". Ako is the first one of them, normal type.

the 7 "Flower" are more like the captains of gen 7, they have exams instead of fights (though there is an actual fight at the end of the exam).

Legend Plate in PLA was a hint to the new game gimmick

the third legendary is evil, but not much is known about it. Kana will try to learn more about it with the help of Iris, one of the seven flowers. They are close friends.

Iris is the main villain he pretends to be nice until the near-end of the game. He secretly hates humanity.

the final battle is something similar to the battle against Lusamine where Iris will fuse with the legendary pokemon.
