No because the strongest things with that type are a box legendary, a Mythical and a Mega, all with amazing abilities and massive attacking stats

Klefki and regular Mawile aren't anything remarkable.

You can't nerf type combos while simultaneously keeping standard types the same.
Make a Poison type move called Corroding Acid that acts like Freeze Dry but for Poison types to hit Steel types and that way Steel/Fairy has a 4x weakness.
