>>50429030> A single pokemon can create an egg out of thin air. Yet they need a second pokemon to imbue the egg with life.We were never told whether the pokemon are actually involved.
> Is that how pokemon reproduce? Not only. The Gen 1 zukan claims Nidorina and Nidoqueen can't breed(meaning they know enough abotu reproduction to get to that conclusion) but in Gen 2's Elm finds it weird that they don't produce eggs at the daycare. There are also a few entries speaking about mons having offspring AND we were told multiple times the eggs are cradles and the mon inside was already born.
General reproduction and daycare eggs seem to be different processes.
>The Gen 2 remakes set this precedent with Arceus make one of the creation trio out of an egg. I'll never understand why people here are so fixated on this when discussing eggs, specially given its the only thing from official material people care about.
>An egg made out of thin air with some kind of energy. We don't know if what Arceus did was the same as what happens more regularly. The better theory is that Celebi brings them up.
>Is this energy the catalyst for all life in pokemon?maybe
