>>50439862To be fair if your mental age is 12 or older how are you even supposed to like these games? Especially when each new addition to the series just holds your hand even more and gives you less and less freedom. Kanto was the perfect region because there was a litany of Pokemon you could choose from in the main game and you could tackle the game in almost any order you wanted and explore the world at your own leisure without the game telling you exactly where to go. Even gen 2 still had these elements but sadly the series seems to think we want a dumbed down JRPG instead, Or that "we" don't matter and that it's all about mobile phone kids (who don't even play these games anyway).
