No it wouldn’t. Most fans of Pokémon aren’t actual fans, they can’t even be called “casuals”, they only care about Pokémon because it’s everywhere the richest franchise in the world. These “fans” don’t have standards so Pokémon games sell solely on name alone. Pokémon is too big to fail. And if you dare suggest that Pokémon isn’t 100% perfect and demand that basic standards be met, these “fans” take it as a personal insult and attack you.

Nope. You know what happened, in fact? BDSP and PLA, two games released literal months apart from each other, have both collectively sold more than SWSH. A standard GameFreak project, and an outsource.

Honestly I thought that the bank update taking so long was some indication of a small gen 8 update. It’s weird to me to not be able to at least send technically gen 8 pokemon like ursaluna to SwSh
