How hard will it be for me to finish my living dex on Home right now? Unforuntately I sold my 3DS years ago so I can't clone them and the most of the pokemon I'm missing are from Gens 2 through 7.

Incredibly easily. You'll be missing a few gen 6 and 7 mons without a 3DS and mythicals but being able to trade on home makes it really easy if you have something to offer. You will have to join reddit/discord to trade for mythicals though since you can only friend trade them

If you just want to complete the roster and assuming you have all the switch games you can play pokemon Go and only be missing
