Platinum is shit too with sprinkles on top of it. Gen 4 is only good because HGSS exist.

Basically this. I've come to this conclusion as well, though I'd say HGSS and ALSO Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. Sinnoh is boring. Platinum makes DP into average games while DP are shit games.

I didn't like Sinnoh or the majority of its pokemon. The only characters I liked were Cyrus and a couple of the gym leaders. I doubt Platinum changes enough to make them much better for me.
