If you used your TMS haphazardly you were fucked. I honestly saved everything. I kinda quit pokemon after gold/silver (they weren't bad but there were better rpgs to play ) but how the fuck was anyone going to get through stadium two without a similiar cheat.

This game basically required you to bend the rules.

there was about a two year gap between the release of red/green and japanese stadium, so they must have been well aware that people knew about the glitch and designed the challenge with that in mind.

I used the Ditto glitch to get my Venusaur into Pika Cup.

Also technically you can get a low level Rhydon legitimately in RBY because there’s a trainer who will trade a Rhydon for a Raichu. So desu the ‘infamous’ trainer did nothing wrong.

The real bullshit was Lt. Surge with his surfing Pikachu and surfing fucking Raichu. I was in total disbelief as a kid when I watched that fucking Raichu use its tail as a fucking surfboard and destroy my Golem.

It is certainly possible but its hard as shit with rentals. There is nothing more frustrating than knowing the higher the evolution the more dogshit moves the rentals get.
Geodude = Earthquake, Rock Slide
Graveler = Magnitude, Rock Throw
Golem = Mud Slap, Rollout (situationally good ngl tho)
Abra has Psychic
Alakazam's strongest move is confusion.

Yeah you need the Gameboy Pokes really. And even then you need to stop your Pokemon from evolving straight away so that you can enter them into Poke Cup with all the best moves. There’s no better feeling than my level 50 Typhlosion with Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, Earthquake and Sunny Day tearing through every trainer.

For the little cup i recommend pokemon with egg moves and hyperbeam scyther
For petit cup everything work but you need a gasthly for the selfdestruct fag and a geodude for that one eevee i think, and a lot of pokemon with icebeam for the dratinis

Been on the itch of playing Gym Leader Castle with rentals only but then I discovered you could play them with random mons (and moves) vs. opponents with random mons/moves too. Fun times
