So wait... the origin forms and all of the Hisui forms can't be used in any other games until SV comes out? Even though they're fully modeled and animated, and they have abilities? Why? What the fuck?

This has been the case since... gen 5? If a mon has a new form programmed only in the newer games it doesn't matter if you can transfer it to an old game, you won't get its special form.
>you can't get resolute Keldeo in BW1, only normal Keldeo
>you can't get Mega Rayquaza in XY, only normal Rayquaza
>you can't get Dusk/Dawn Necrozma in SM, only normal Necrozma
>you can't get Origin Dialga/Palkia in SwSh, only normal Dialga/Palkia

Pokemon Home is supposed to accomodate the new mons, so you should be able to, but you can only move regular Dialga to SWSH/BDSP

I hate to tell you this but GF have been garbage since 2013 and to expect the most basic courtesy one would expect of most developers in Current Year from them is a dearly, dearly misguided trail of thought. You don't get patches. You don't get good Pokemon availability. You don't get games that have enough time to cook in the oven and fully realize their ideas. You don't get to catch 'em all. You WILL buy it anyway.
