They’ve been doing this shit since day one. Pokemon’s entire premise of monsters in capsules, and half of the gen 1 designs, are just straight from Ultraman. The other half are just Dragon Quest.

Even you have to admit that it's a little sketch how all of those things got introduced in the first game that came out after Yo-Kai Watch though.
I feel like the Rotom Dex as a quirky floating sidekick is the most dead giveaway here, they'd have plausible deniability otherwise.

rotom dex being a quirky sidekick is the only point in that image that's close to legitimate imo, but even then rotom as a ghost pokemon whose gimmick is possessing electronics existed well before yo-kai watch as a series
besides, pokemon almost certainly inspired several aspects of yo-kai watch (even indirectly) given how long it's existed as the biggest monster collecting rpg franchise, so arguing that pokemon is bad for "stealing" from yo-kai watch is kind of silly in the first place
