I'm patiently waiting for more news regarding the games before I get a fully formed opinion on it. Three starters and a handful of ingame screenshots aren't much to go off of.

Gameplay wise it certainly looks like they're leaning towards open world, which hasn't been really done until Arecus Legends, sort of.

Arguably its always been 'open world', but I did like how the routes looked and the starters look leagues better than last gen's.
