There have been literally no likable non-legendary/ultra beast pokemon since gen 5 and I don't think SV is going to change that. What are fans like me supposed to do?

Gen 6 had good legendaries/mythicals. Gen 7 had terrible legendaries but good mythicals and ultra beasts. Gen 8 is just terrible all around.

So maybe you don't like Goodra but what about Sligoo and Goomy? Fennekin, Braixen, Froakie, Greninja, and Chestnaught are all pretty cool. Inkay and Malamar are awesome and carry Gen 6 alone. Sure Gen 7 is full of stinkers, but what about Toucannon the literal beak gun? You don't like any A- or G- forms? Okay, but then what about the hair fairies?
