Love it or hate it, when you look at regional designs from Alola or Galar you can tell they are inspired somehow by their habitat and lore
Hisui just goes "yea they become SAMURAI and NINJA because this is an OLD JAPANESE REGION" which is blatant weeb-bait
The region is covered in snow, theres lack of technology and human intervention, how does that make them evolve into Japanese refferences instead of, you know, actual primal versions of themselves adapted to a cold climate?
Only the Ursaring alt makes some sense, and the Sneasel one ( even tho I find them ugly as fuck )
