Jan would never be able to start playing VGC and win a world championship, let alone more easily than Wolfey did.
You can't just consult a guide on your opponent's movesets.
You can't just stack your team according to each match.
You can't just start over when the opponent picks a better lead than you.
You can't just open your opponent's head and read their flowchart of a brain.
You actually can cheat, but you need to be subtle enough to get away with it, which Jan was not.
I guess it was always obvious that the guy who only battles AI's designed to job to children was worse than the guy who battles actual humans, but it's still funny to see the difference laid out so starkly.
