Ive thought about replaying Gold/HG but I can vaguely remember that leveling Pokemon was a pain in the ass since every wild Pokemon at some point was like minimum 10 lvls below you. Was I just retarded as a kid or do those games have a scaling problem?
Ive unironically finished my very first run with 95% Feraligatr.
...My first hall of fame was Feraligatr, Togepi, Hoothoot, Ghastly, Raikou, Geodude and all of them were HEAVILY underleveled. Raikou was still his initial lvl.
I guess I was a bit retarded since I accidentally threw my master ball on the Raikou and therefore couldnt capture Ho-Oh.. so all my other Pokemon just ended up being there to tank a round for me to revive my Feraligatr if it died
