Have you ever met a woman who was actually interested by pokemon?
I've met more women into pokemon than men but every women I know that love pokemon only love pokemon because of the cutemons, they only play the main games and dont know shit about competitive pokemon or EV/IV for example, as long as there is "le cute pikachu/glaceon" it's all that matter according to them.
Meanwhile male fans are more invested and more interested by pokemon. I've never meet an actual woman who really loved pokemon.
