Keldeo also deserves a shoutout for shitting on Chansey/Blissey like a special sweeper has no business doing.
The others aren't great, but they collectively had more of a splash than the Lake midgets and the Regi studs before them.
Even compared to the Birds and the Beasts, who each have one rock-solid member in Zapdos/Suicune, the Swords are pretty alright.

They're Legendary Pokémon because they actually did legendary deeds, e.g. Terrakion toppled a whole castle on his own just to introduce his horns to the guy in charge.
As for Crown Tundra, uhhh... yeah, there's not much background there. It's Sword/Shield Version and there's a Crown guy floating around, so GameFreak just decided it'd be weird to leave them out.
