Usually only the protag girls get Legendaries and alternates otherwise. Think the only protag boys with alts are Hilbert (Halloween) and Red (Classic), while the only protag boy with a Legendary is Lucas & Dialga. And, well, Scottie, who has multiple Legendaries to choose from. Solgaleo, Regirock, Cobalion.
