>>50537454"Too fast for Trick Room" is a thing for Pokemon who don't learn Trick Room.
Aurorus can get stuck in Trick Room against a slower opponent because it can't just reverse it by using TR itself, and by the time it's in, the decision has already been made to use it.
There are mid-speed or even fast mons who use Trick Room. Mimikyu, Chandelure, the DP and SM box legends, and even Calyrex-S. But they're all TR setters. You don't really see TR abusers who are mid-speed.
And frankly, even without this factor, Aurorus still isn't good in TR. Even if the opponent's entire team is faster, you still have to waste an extra turn switching Aurorus in. And Unlike mons like Melmetal, Ferrothorn, Crawdaunt, Incineroar, Amoonguss, Torkoal, Conkeldurr, etc., it's not good outside of Trick Room so it's just a sitting duck once it wears off.
That's the key here. A Pokemon needs to either be able to learn TR or be good outside of TR to be good for a TR team.
