Instead of spamming us with ultra beasts, both Necrozma and Eternatus could and should have been in the same generation and both be event Pokemon.

Both of them being ancient aliens that represent light and darkness, fighting each other through many dimensions and worlds until they happen to arrive in our world, where we have to stop them.

Why the fuck is Eternatus fighting the Sword and Shield dogs? Why does Necrozma have fusions with evolved Cosmogs?

This franchise is wasted potential on steroids.
