Not exactly hunting but I'm trying to breed a few shiny mons my friend wanted. Trapinch, Espur, ralts and eevee. All I have left is trapinch and I'm even going the extra mile to make sure they all have perfect stats.

I started to hunt pic related on my other 3ds simultaneously as a sort of break so 1. I can have a non Gyarados/Glitch ditto gen 2 shiny, 2. I could get something for BDSP that has the Game Boy icon and 3. I can get a Totodile. Yes I used Ditto but I wasn't expecting him in the 2nd egg.

That said, outside of stantler maybe, I'm not gen 2 breeding again, it's too slow for my liking.

PLA - Everything, though I'm focusing on Spritomb and Unown. It's not too crazy of any idea to get a shiny living dex (excluding legendaries) in that game right? I almost have two boxes of shinies

As far as I know there's only one method in that game, that being random spawns.
