Galarian Darmanitan is a lot better than regular Darmanitan.
Alolan Ninetales gets more usage than regular Ninetales, but it's hard to know if that's because it's simply better or because Torkoal outclasses Ninetales while nothing really outclasses Alolan Ninetales.

Nope. They don't "have" to be anything other than a concept, which in this case, is ice/snow. If they "must" be Water, for whatever dumbass reason you think, then they are irrelevant to this thread. But since they are already fire types, the ice concept is valid.

True. Really, they're just fundamentally different mons.
K-Ninetales is sun setter for only sun teams, while A-Ninetales is a screen setter above all else, since hail teams basically don't exist. And it can be on other kinds of teams but mostly HO.

Stealth Rock should do 1/8 to grounded mons and 1/4 to ungrounded mons, to make up for Spikes.
A Pokemon shouldn't be able to lose more than 1/4 of its HP to hazards.
