Anyone else's autism is triggered by how Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos have no proper placement for their leagues and just are completely on their own in some random point of their regions?

How does the league even function in universe? They just have a massive castle in the middle of no where with 5 people sitting in rooms waiting for challengers

I assume there's some schedule or arrangement when a trainer enters the league, he and the Champion pass throught all rooms beating the Elite 4 (see Alola remaches) and they meet in the Champion room to see if the regent Champion keeps the title or loses it to the challenger

I always assumed the badge check gates and victory road existed to give them time. Like when a trainer is coming through, some league staffer sends them a message saying "hey, we need you here and ready to fight in an hour".

I think the idea is that it's a battle City because the facility is so big it looks like a city from the outside. Kinda hard to say in GBA but the remake makes it more likely
