For me, roasted Donphan is actually quite tasty when slow-cooked. You can't eat the tire bits or the tusks, but the meat is to die for! Cut off a hunk around the shoulder to make a good shoulder roast.
Pop the Donphan shoulder into a roasting pan uncovered, season it with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, or whatever floats your boat. Bake it in the oven at 425 for about 20 minutes and then turn the heat back down to 325 and leave it in there for 4 hours. When its all done, you have a super tasty meat dish to cut into!
