Fire should be supereffective to fairy

Fire is already balanced by being weak to the most common spammeable moves in the game

Grass should resist Fairy because fairies live in nature and don't want to hurt it.

Fairies should be weak to Bug because realistic scary nature predators vs innocent fantasy nature creatures, also makes you think of pixies getting caught in a spiderweb.

Really, Fairy type is just overtuned. Gamefreak cannot balance their games for shit.

I agree. Additionally, Ice should resist Fairy, Ground, and/or Flying. It would make logical sense, and these aforementioned types do deserve a nerf.

Realistically fairy would be super effective against bugs because bugs are weak as shit and would get decimated by powerful magic of the smaller fairies or squished by larger ones.

Completely incorrect.
Something needed to be immune to Dragon because Outrage was so easy to spam.
Ice didn't work because it didn't resist Dragon. Steel didn't work because Magnezone existed and Outrage hit hard anyway even when resisted, considering Dragons had such high stats on average and it was a 120 BP, usually banded, STAB move.

We have unicorns, dark imps, sprite-like bugs, food, flowers, a deer god, Doug Dimmadome, aliens from the moon, some rabbits, a Waifu, a Frenchman, a cotton boll, boo-boo keys, a rock, some fungi, literal robots, Hawaiian deities, and a Fucking mimic ghost.

Fairy type makes no sense and would make more sense being called “Supernatural” type

Dragons dont dominate gen5 though. In doubles it’s the genies+cress/heat ran/amoongus and singles its weather (even with latios and kyub legal in OU).

The only Steel-types that truly did the job well have a second typing that takes care of the coverage move.
Taking Gen 5 Salamence(ran earthquake) as an example:
Skarmory- immune to ground
Ferrothorn- Grass makes coverage move neutral.
Heatran- only a good switchin with an intact Air Balloon unless you are certain the Outrage is coming.
Scarf sets occasionally also ran Fire Blast, which means Ferrothorn and Skarmory weren't actual counters to that one.
The only reason it doesn't run Fire Blast on the Dragon dance set is because these guys just get trapped by Magnezone anyway, so no point in wasting the moveslot.
