Carno arms were tiny, proportionally even smaller than the T-rex's, and unlike the T-rex whose arms were determined to have unusual musculature for their size, Carno's digits were vestigial and all signs point to the arms barely being even movable.
Not to mention studies of their brain cavity shows they relied on their sense of smell than sight or hearing.
So why would a creature with poor eyesight use a tiny, barely movable limb for display.
