Haven't you shitheads learned remakes are only one-a-system yet? Why must you put yourself through this retarded delusion every fucking time a remake launches. First the hoennbabs with their "h-hoenn confirmed1" all through Gen 5, then you fucking goshites thinking after them stealing $879m, they'll try the trick again, much less before a new system launch.

Yep, multiple Generations can and do appear on successful systems (we started off with a double-header, remember? Gen 1+2? on Game Boy?). Remakes are still only one-a-system.

They made it crystal clear since the late '00'2 they wait until the Generation in question is two whole hardware Generations removed from the current day, before going back to give the game a breath of new life.

LGPE wasn't a remake, per se as it didn't feature Red fulfilling the plot of Gen 1, which the previous game in the Generation had reiterated was the canon outcome to the core universe they present.
That it was also aimed at boomer GOtards should have been another clue, remakes always prioritise the children playing, to the point that fuckwits here mald over decisions taken to nerf or change their childhood memories.
