That's just basically what if an old region lacked roadblocks, even some romhacks has roadblocks removed and bosses scaling their mons to your levels
I know the fanbase is gonna see this as phenomenal and world-changing, but it isn't

Honestly if they pull all this off then these will ACTUALLY be the best pokemon games, no contest. These are the sorts of next-gen improvements I've been expecting, where the world feels vast and open and you're free to ACTUALLY go on adventure of your own in the world of pokemon.

Yeah consider me skeptical, but I have some optimism that they'll get it. They've nailed online integration before, and considering multiplayer stuff has always been something they want (play with your friends and all that), I think this could be a hit.
