The big city they showed on the trailer has elements of Lisbon. The whole region is very clearly uniformely inspired by Iberia as a whole rather than taking elements of different Iberian regions and putting them in their assorted place.

They left out ANY meaningful places in the portuguese territory except for Algarve. No PokéLisbon. And no, the main city is not based on Lisbon, it clearly has plazas not typical of Lisbon and everything is very much like Madrid and Barcelona

I just said it's inspired by other big Iberian cities, it even has a knockoff Sagrada Familia. The main square is very clearly inspired by the Terreiro do Paço with a few elements from the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, that it's not a 1-1 to copy doesn't matter, there's clear inspiration.

No shit!! Maybe that’s why I said it has heavy influence of Barcelona and Madrid. That plaza is inspired on Madrid’s. The buildings? Spannish. We are discussing my capital city having no representation on an actual town in the game, not that the game won’t be inspired on the Iberian culture.

It could always be both (again, inspiration=/=1-to-1 copy), but personally I get more Terreiro do Paço than Plaza Mayor vibes from it, I think it's the yellow.
