Watching the new trailer, I was reminded of an old leak from before Sword & Shield. It claimed that gen 8 was going to be based in Mexico and that the legendary Pokemon were two snakes with Aztec motifs. Something about tradition and change and ecology.

Does anybody remember seeing this as well? It was discredited after gen 8 was revealed to be taking place in England but seeing the legendary Pokemon in this one I think that the leaker back then was right and mixed up Mexico with Spain. Also would mean that something happened that caused them to postpone this one and make it gen 9.
