I really like B2W2 but at the moment BW was released it was 10000 stepts back. Yes the sprites MOVED but it was pixelated as fuck, we came from one of the most polished games to date (HGSS) and had to see that. In addition to that, the pace of the first game was awful and the retard did not have a better idea than just have new Pokémon and to put the most godawful designs as the ones that showed up the most in the beginning. Really, if you did not live that specific moment in time you have no fucking idea what you're talking about. Yea, I replayed B2W2 a couple times in emulators now but the fact that a new version that had to massivelly overhaul (and not just add) content to fix it was needed talks a lot about that era.

Cool opinion, yes I have and I don't agree. I think the majority of the gen 5 mons are hideous, and that gen 5's focus was on storytelling more than the mons themselves.

Thats not mentioning how the story ruined the lore and they tried to force the fact that you battle pokemon because they want to be friend, they dont obey to your command they want to fight for you because they love you. Its a cognitive dissonance that I cant accept in a rpg with turn base battle being the core of the gameplay

Black & White were extremely divisive games when they came out, even moreso than Ruby & Sapphire and Sword & Shield. Even if Black White 2 rebounded the generation the 3DS was about to come out and the intial games were considered step downs from HG&SS and Platinum. BW2 were the lowest selling "3rd" version in the series, the damage was done
