In my case, I'm a regular anon who lurks like a regular anon. I started with gen 4, and adored both its main games (including HGSS which is so good precisely thanks to gen 2) and spinoffs. (particularly PMD Explorers and Ranger 2 & 3)
I think it's the best gen. And so, it may surprise you, but I adored BW and BW2 as well. (and found PMD Gates alright)
But I'm not here for blogposting. I did considerably like XY. And that's because it was a great experience and the months that followed it were absolutely glorious if you had friends, which I did have. In fact it raised my expectations too high for what's next, and despite the interesting additions like the dexnav, ORAS was the first disappointment with shit like the Battle Frontier Project™.
