Why did this trailer have so little content when we already had such a big news drought? I just wanna know what the new gimmick is.

Not getting a (You) due to low quality shitpoat, but I'll bite.

Given how the last 2 new gen cycles went, we can expect at least one major reveal a month until September, when we'll get scraps until release.

For swsh, Dmax and Gmax were elaborated on a lot more in the July trailer, it for sm, Z moves were not revealed until August, though it was right at the beginning. This should give you an idea of when you can expect the news on the gimmick.

I've also seen anons in the sticky and other threads fretting over regional forms because they weren't shown today. Both times they wee revealed for a new gen, they were revealed in August.
