>>50645388>So you were just being a smartass even though you knew what I meant?I was trying, and apparently still failing, to illustrate the fact that human sexual dimorphism, as in males being bigger, females having wide hips, males being stronger, etc, isn't something you can apply unilaterally across the entire animal kingdom. There are species (no, not just insects) in which the males are smaller and curvier than the females. There are species where the males have muted colors and the females stand out with bright shades of red. There are species where the female looks like a hulking angular monstrosity with jutting out teeth and the male is small, sleek and smooth. There are egg laying species where the males have wider hips.
>You have no proof of this yet.NEITHER HAVE YOU. YOU ARE BASING YOUR ENTIRE THESIS ON A SINGLE DRAWING OF A LIZARD.
>of course the creators are going to use familiar design cues to communicate to kids "hey! this is femaleI'm pretty sure they were attempting to communicate "hey, this is a cool futuristic dragon!", dude. The legendaries are explicitly meant to be genderless and mysterious. If they wanted to communicate that it was female, there's this feature in the game called gender which they would've been able to use.
>I'm still trying to figure out how you reached this conclusionBecause you saw a dragon, and you IMMEDIATELY assumed that Game Freak were, quote, "trying to communicate that it's female", because of its "hips and pelvis". This isn't a discussion normal people are having anywhere else.
>I was asked why I thought it was female, I responded with 'X design cues', and you responded with 'Fucking coomer'.The coomer thing was admittedly in jest and probably uncalled for, but your hip width theory is still schizophrenic and you're still a prick. I don't have proof of this, but I can guarantee you that no designer at Game Freak has notes in their sketchbook which say "make Miraidon's hips 30% wider than Koraidon's".
