To this day I am baffled by this thing. I'm too young to have seen the original pokemon anime, the gen 3 anime was airing when I was a little kid, but I had seen some episodes of the original including the onix episode. Onix looked super intimidating and I remember even being a little bit scared of it, at least until the end where that feeling was overwritten by annoyance that a ground pokemon was killed with electricity. Until recently, I had no idea that Onix was this bad. A 385 BST, are you serious? Why is this thing's attack and HP so atrocious? Even worse, to my knowledge it has NEVER been buffed aside from the Steelix evolution, and honestly Steelix also sucks. I can't understand it.
