Dumbass shill. It's Lechonk because they wanted to make this unremarkable Pokemon marketable to the west to get them preordering for "the heckin' wholesome chonker" because they're not yet ready to show any of the more notable final stage Pokemon or the main gimmick.
Nothing more, nothing less. There's nothing clever to it beyond "Lechon" already existing.
All they had to do was add a K and they were golden.
