These perfectly encapsulate everything wrong with modern Pokemon.

>empty island with literally no one to talk to or interact with besides the NPCs in the hub area and random trade NPCs scattered about with no logic
>legendaries are now gods that talk to the player
>legendaries are now disposable gacha prizes from a boring "boss" rush mode
>new Regi content doesn't have a single puzzle
>can be beat in under 4 hours even when taking your time and genuinely trying to enjoy it
>reward is a few actually semi-challenging trainer fights, something that should be all over these DLC islands
Why didn't they at least litter these islands with more hardcore trainer battles? The player has already beaten the game, let them test their team on actual trainers.
