Nothing epitomizes Pokemon losing soul as a series more than the Pokedex being turned into a fucking iPhone.

As much as people made fun of the Rotomdex at least it was an expansion of Rotom's lore of taking over electronics.

In the game you get pulled into the past in your pajamas and your phone. It's floating in the air around you when Arceus teleports you. That's why you have an Arc phone. I just played the early part of the game again recently and noticed that.
Not saying the phone isn't retarded, but it doesn't just materialize.
