>>50638265>Yeah Sword and Shield have such good game design bro,You and I both know that's not what I meant. My point is that SwSh are not bad because of the dex cut, but because the overall game design sucked ass. If it had good routes, actual dungeons, bigger towns and more challenging battles nobody would give a shit about the cut.
>DexNav is as important to the Pokemon franchise as copy abilities are to Kirbykek
look, dexnav is good, and ORAS are better because of it, but it was easy to implement on 3DS because you had two screens. why SMUSUM didn't have it I don't know, but again not every feature that was decent at some point has to be in every single iteration of the franchise. catching pokemon in tall grass is fine without it. previous games like Emerald Platinum and HGSS are still fan favorites despite not having it.
here's a better kirby comparison: forgotten land let you upgrade your copy abilities which was really nice and which would be cool if the next game had that too, but it also doesn't mean that all future kirby games are garbage just because they don't let you upgrade your abilities. they can be garbage for other reasons but not that.
>I wouldn't be mad about the Battle Frontier if SwShit had 100+ hours of story content, sidequests, and things to actually DO which compensated for that loss, SwSh does have actual post game content though and so did SMUSUM. you don't like it? yeah me neither, but not because it wasn't battle frontier. it was bad because it was bad. once again, battle frontier is not the fucking problem here.
