Gen 8 had shitty mainline games that dexcutted half the pokemon, shitty "fans" who defended that decision, the shitty DP remakes that gutted the Battle Frontier, a shitty moba game, a shitty gacha game, and a shitty anime full of yaoibaiting nostalgiabait.
And of the eight new Scarlet/Violet pokemon revealed so far, none of these awful designs are changing my mind.
Honestly, if it weren't for the passable spinoffs like Legends Arceus / PMD DX remake / New Pokemon Snap, there was not much about Gen 8 that I found enjoyable.
