What the fuck are the hands? The artwork makes it look like it justs has fat wrists but still has actual hands. The model just has nubby limbs with wierd hairs that are supposed to be fingers I guess.

Honestly I think it's the fact that the rear end on the 2D art is bigger than the rear end of the 3D model which makes the model look weird

The same goes for most of the new Pokemon.
They ironically look better as 2D Artwork than they do 3D Models, despite design philosophies very obviously being biased towards the latter.

Might just be an angle/posing thing, but in this shot it looks like the model has a thinner body, the arms kinda straighten out a bit instead of looking rounded from being extra fluffy, and the tail is completely hidden by the head. Doesn't help that the trailer didn't really show it off the way it did the legendaries and starters so we don't have a good look at it in full detail nor a complete sense of how it moves.

Looks like the same guy who did gen 7's official art is doing the none legendaries and starter art. Doesn't look like sugimori, It feels very gen 7 with the shading and silhouette pose. IDK just a vibe.

Based on those mitts, electric fighting makes a ton of sense for an evolution plus the Pikachu clones tend to get somewhat unique type combos. But some anon on here said it a while ago, the fact that it has natural cure and rubs its paws together like a defibrillator makes me wonder if it's going to become some sort of a nurse Pokemon. Basically the Audino/Chansey of the generation

used this to warp it into a slightly more similar model to match the artwork, but im still not in love with the creature itself its such a boring unimaginative gimmick. the electricity sacs in the cheeks are enough, organs in the arms is just excessive and not interesting

yeah, the actual model looks deflated. i understand theres limitations when they need to have the models be able to move smoothly for animations in the game, but there has to be other alternatives than what gf did making it look more like a weird blob of sagging human fat rather than properly distributed rodent anatomy
