It's actually "okay at best" by modern Pokemon standards, more or less the most recent iteration of a hard-hitting physical Normal Type with additional Ground boons.
Aside from that, a Base Attack of 140, Guts AND the possibility of STAB Facade will be fun to play around with in SV.

Ursaluna is a BST 10 points higher than Snorlax, is more optimally built (Snorlax has pretty bad physical defense to compensate for its high HP while Ursaluna is bulky on both sides), has a higher attack stat, has fewer points wasted in special attack, and is even a little bit faster to boot. And on top of that, has a better ability and a better typing.
Thankfully, GF had the restraint to not give it Moonlight.
