Anyway, I recently decided to try Nova Sun and, what do you know, making the game harder turns it into an actually fun experience. I'm mostly concerned with catching all the Pokemon in a regional dex, so the battling was never a big thing for me, but SuMo was just ... SO easy that it was insulting.
Anyway, is there something like that but for SwSh? I might give them a shot if so. I quit playing Pokemon after USUM (I barely played 5 hours, and I never beat SuMo).
