Gen 9 literally have the same body type and shape, same antennae and tails. Literally only thing different is the pose and color. Gen 8 is even worse ofc

I agree these are better than the wolves in that regard but since we already had two clones legendaries in gen 8 these gen 9 box legends leave a bitter taste and aren’t a good sign for the gen 10 box legendaries

Gen 3 and 6, and 7 were the only gens with 2 completely different legendaries. Everything was either twin dragons, twin birds, or twin dogs. Hell Solgaleo and Lunala evoled from the same pokemon anyway so they weren't that different.

The box legendaries usually share traits. Zekrom and reshiram have the butplugs and 2 legs. Palkia and dialga share gems and the faces. Solgaleo and lunala share the space theme and the yellows.
