It's pretty boring compared to inscription. What's the point of having different species if it's only stat changes between them?
Also it apes the worst mana system from inscription and world 2 has a weird difficulty curve

I tried this a few days ago, either I was terrible at it or they really don't give you coins. My wallet was always empty when I had the option to buy things, then I would win a battle and not see shops for a while.

Defense is damage reduction, the green number is health. And SE only adds 1. For example, that first Pidgeotto would deal 7-6+1 damage to Beedril, who has 15 health.
