the 5 year remake pattern didn't stick either (5 years between each remake).
The only 2 patterns so far that have been sticking is 1: Remake on a new console and 2: Remake in a generation that is double the number ie; 3/6 4/8 5/10, but even then patterns change and sometimes there are exceptions.
B/W could very well be coming sooner rather than later, especially when the iron is hot.
